Our comparison framework is designed to make meaningful differences visible. Our current profiles cover selected weight-management services, fitness subscriptions and equipment, testing and online mental health care for US consumers. We compare providers within their service category and make the limits of document-based research clear.
Use consistent criteria
Profiles use the same core categories: services, care and support, eligibility and availability, total cost, minimum term, renewals, cancellation and refunds. Where plans differ, we explain the difference rather than forcing unlike services into a single price.
Make sources and dates visible
Provider terms, fee schedules and service documentation are the starting point for operational and contractual details. A published profile should state when it was checked and link to the sources used. Unclear or conflicting details are identified as such.
Treat medical statements separately
Marketing material alone is not a sufficient basis for a medical claim. Clinical statements need appropriate evidence and qualified review before publication. A profile should identify its author and any medical reviewer, and make the scope of that review clear.
Do not imply hands-on testing
A review based on documents and published terms is described that way. Personal testing, clinical experience or interviews are only claimed when they have actually occurred and can be explained.
Explain judgments
We do not publish unexplained star ratings or universal “best for everyone” labels. Any recommendation or score needs stated criteria, a defined audience and enough supporting detail for a reader to understand it.
Disclose commercial relationships
Any affiliate relationship is disclosed close to the relevant recommendation or link. A commercial relationship does not change the core comparison criteria. Sponsored placements, if used, must be clearly identified.

Health claims and imagery
We do not promise treatment results, make miracle claims, or present an unverified endorsement by a doctor or patient. Any claim about safety or effectiveness needs evidence appropriate to the specific product and formulation; evidence for a branded medicine is not automatically evidence for a compounded preparation. Provider-specific compounded products are labeled as compounded.
Illustrative lifestyle images do not represent patient experiences or clinical endorsements. We do not use before-and-after photographs to promote treatment. A disclaimer does not replace evidence for a claim.
Editorial scope and promotion
Our comparisons are intended for US adults. We do not publish coupon codes, voucher offers or enrollment incentives. Sponsored content and commission-bearing links must carry a clear disclosure with the relevant content or link. Promotional materials must follow the same evidence and disclosure standards as the website’s editorial content.
