GLP-1 cancellation and refund policies

Weight management · Practical guide

Fit ’n’ Healthy editorial research · Checked November 3, 2026

Separate stopping the next renewal from canceling an existing order, and check the provider’s actual cutoff.

The practical answer: Make two requests explicit: stopping future renewal and canceling or refunding a current order. They can have different deadlines. A subscription can be stopped while an order already approved or processed remains payable under the provider’s published terms.

Three published policy examples

These are selected provider documents checked on November 3, 2026. We summarize the stated purchasing process, not whether a particular term is enforceable in your situation. The applicable order, state, timing and facts matter. No cancellation was tested against a real patient account.

Provider and sourceFuture renewalCurrent-order boundary to check
CoreAge Rx 1 · 2Optional subscriptions must be stopped before the renewal is processed. One-time purchases have no automatic renewal.Policy describes early cancellation before approval and pharmacy transmission, subject to its 30-day cutoff and consultation fees. Once approval and transmission are both complete, it says prescription sales are final even before shipment.
HealthRX 3 · 4Email support@healthrx.com to stop future Subscribe & Save renewals. One-time purchases do not renew.FAQ says unshipped doses are refundable. The policy describes sales as final once charged and handed to the carrier, and excludes return of dispensed prescription medicine. Confirm the exact order stage.
Strut Health 5 · 6FAQ requires 48 hours’ notice before processing for cancellation of subscriptions.Refund policy says a request after pharmacy processing cannot be refunded, and medicines that have left the pharmacy cannot be returned or refunded.

Write down the order timeline

Request the next renewal date and the current order’s approval, pharmacy-transmission, processing and shipment status. A shipping notification is only one event in that timeline. If a provider’s cutoff happens earlier, waiting for a tracking number can miss it. Keep timestamps and distinguish an automated receipt from confirmation that the requested action is complete.

CoreAge’s policy also states that an order becomes non-refundable after 30 calendar days from purchase, including orders held up by missing patient documents, except where applicable law requires otherwise. It lists non-refundable consultation fees of $50–$100 where applicable. Its early-cancellation conditions and final-order rule address different stages; ask support to identify which stage and fee apply to your specific order.

A multi-month purchase may cover several later shipments without being a sequence of separately refundable monthly purchases. Dividing the prepaid charge by the number of months does not establish the value of a refund. Ask the provider to explain the refundable portion and the reason for each deduction in writing.

Send a request that says exactly what you want

Use the official account or support route stated in your current terms. Identify the order using its reference and the account email. Request both actions if you need both: stop future automatic renewals and review cancellation and any refundable part of the current order. Ask for separate written answers, the effective date and the policy used.

This wording avoids an ambiguous “cancel everything” request. A support team could otherwise stop the next subscription payment while leaving an existing pharmacy order unchanged. If a deadline is approaching, send the request promptly and retain the original timestamp. Do not rely on a saved draft or an unanswered portal message as proof of acceptance.

Keep a useful record

  1. The selected plan and whether it was a one-time purchase or subscription.
  2. The order receipt, full amount paid, dates and the applicable policy version or saved page.
  3. The cancellation request, submission timestamp, ticket number and final response.
  4. A separate confirmation of the next renewal being stopped, plus any refund amount and remaining charge.
  5. The promised refund route and processing time, followed by the actual credit on the original payment or financing account.

If an order is damaged, missing or incorrect, describe that problem separately. Do not treat a defect or shipment complaint as a change-of-mind request, and do not send prescription medicine back without the dispensing pharmacy’s instructions. Keep treatment questions with your clinician; a billing cancellation is not a medical plan for stopping or changing a medicine.

Common questions

Does cancel anytime guarantee a refund?

No. It can describe stopping the next renewal. The separate current-order rules still need to be read.

Is not shipped yet enough to guarantee cancellation?

No. In these examples, pharmacy approval, transmission or processing can be relevant before shipment. Request the actual status and the applicable rule.

Can the same deadline be applied to every GLP-1 provider?

No. The examples differ, and a policy may change. Check the terms supplied for your purchase; this guide does not decide an individual refund dispute.
